I had the privilege of working with Lachlan who prepared a promotional video that captured the subtitles of delivering training to an international cohort of senior Chinese university academics and administrators at the Australian National University. This group of academics and professionals were in Australia for a 10 week program of study and tours to learn how higher education is best done at a leading university. Learning was along four themes including the context of higher education, research led approaches to education, administering a tertiary institution and leading higher education into the 21st century. Lachlan was able to capture how participants experienced moments of interactional workshop leaning, cultural immersion in situ and personal growth in one-on-one interviews. The sound track was translated into Chinese and presented as subtitles. The resulting video of approx. 20 minutes effectively communicated to the Chinese Scholarship Council the value of the participant experience and helped secure ongoing study tours.

We’ve been extremely happy with Lachlan Ker’s services recording seminars and conferences by the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy at ANU Crawford School. Lachlan has been very responsive to our requests and has produced excellent video clips which we are using in our web-based outreach. Lachlan takes a very positive approach to the task and it has been a pleasure to have him work at our events at ANU.
